"Arabs ascribe their best virtues to the desert: their deep religiosity, the communal spirit, the pride in their race, their hospitality, the dignity and respect they accord their fellow human beings..." so wrote the British historian, Wilfred Thesinger in one of his books about the Bedouins. Only those who experience the desert through all the senses can unterstand just how this apparently infinite expanse of finest sand, sun, heat and barreness has moulded these people. This archaic experience is no longer reserved for nature-lovers but now available for everyone, at the Al Maha Desert Resort in Dubai.
